About Chuck Hall Aviation
Chuck Hall Aviation was founded in 1983 by Chuck and Evelyn Hall, with the first plane taxiing in on June 14th of that year. What started as a single block of hangers built to house a T6 Texan quickly grew into a bustling FBO that catered to the Warbird and General Aviation communities. By 1986 there were nine hanger buildings, with another three more yet to come.
Together with a wonderful and welcoming group of tenants and staff, they developed a unique and comfortable atmosphere which we all still enjoy here today.
Mike Bittinger acquired Chuck Hall Aviation in January of 2019. He has dedicated himself and his staff to improving and modernizing the FBO, while also retaining the atmosphere that causes so many to call this home. Chuck Hall’s P51D Mustang, Six Shooter, still resides in its hanger here at Chuck Hall Aviation, and you just may see its distinctive wings in the skies above Ramona and Julian.
Now offering Phillips 66 aviation fuel, Chuck Hall Aviation is proud to offer competitive pricing to customers both old and new. Warbirds, aerobatic planes, luxury piston-craft, turboprops and jets alike call this home, and we would like to invite you to fly in and fall in love with Ramona Airport too.
